The 8th Annual Bentley Polo Championships Horses & Horsepower presented by Talking Stick Resort was held at Westworld of Scottsdale on November 10-11, 2018.
This event draws in large crowds for this polo event. Last year, there was a record breaking amount with more than 12,000 fans for a one-day polo event as they enjoyed the four match showdown at the annual Polo Party. This year, the event expands to two days with sneak peeks of the 2018 Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction. Fans will also enjoy local car clubs lining the field, performances by the Phoenix Opera and a new Sunday Brunch!
This year's lineup will include many favorites including some top players and teams in the country including a first time appearance by Ralph Lauren model and world famous polo player Nacho Figueras.
Juan Bollini scores the first goal for Talking Stick Resort team. They were playing against the Spiritual Gangsters. Melissa Ganzi scored the first goal for the Spiritual Gangsters. Juancito Bollini scores second goal and Nacho Figueras scores the next goal. This gives the Spiritual Gangsters the upper hand with a 3-1 lead in the first checker.
Nacho Figueras and Melissa Ganzi controlled the points in the second chucker as Figueras scores 2 and Melissa Ganzi scores a point on penalty conversion on the west goal giving Spiritual Gangsters the 6-1 lead into halftime.
