With two weeks into the 2018 season, ASU Sun Devils pull off a big upset against the No. 16th ranked Michigan State Spartans 16-13 Saturday at Sun Devil Stadium. When you have nothing to loose and everything to gain, Herm Edwards and his team come out and play with everything they have. They still have a long way to go, but this organization so far has adapted well to the new head coach.
Michigan State Spartans (1-0) looked to break the tie with the Arizona State Sun Devils, but couldn't capitalize with any touchdowns in the first half. The Spartans go into halftime with a 3-0 lead. It wasn't until 3rd quarter before Sun Devils have finally added 3 points to the scoreboard.
When comparing last weeks game against UTSA, the Sun Devils is having a hard time moving the ball down field and capitalizing. Spartans quarterback Brian Lewerke, an Arizona native throws a touch down pass which gave the Spartans a 13-3 lead with 1.27 left in the 3rd quarter.
The players all respect Herm Edwards. When you win, they continue to buy in says Edwards
